Hello I am Angie Ibarra and I am a self taught artist and a stay at home mom with 4 children. I live just outside Houston, Texas near Galveston with my husband and children. I have one year of training in Visual Communications from the Art Institute of Houston. Although I only began painting in 2001 I have been creating art my whole life. Since 2001 I have sold over 300 paintings/artwork worldwide.

My paintings are stylized with strong lines and vibrant colors. My favorite subject is the large female figure. Being a full figured woman myself, I want to create a visual image of what it feels and looks like to love yourself and to be proud of who and where you are in this very moment in you life. When I paint I strive to convey the sensuality, beauty and confidence that I believe resides in all women, any size and shape.
